BGCSV Hosts SVHS Teachers
08.17.09 The Boys & Girls Club hosted Sonoma Valley High School teachers for lunch and a tour on their first day back to work from summer break. Nearly 70 teachers were in attendance for the Club tour, information and lunch. The goal of the afternoon was to introduce the faculty to the Club's many programs available to the high school students so that they can encourage teens to attend the Club. So far it's working; we've seen a large increase of high school students attending the Club already, specifically to take advantage of the Intel Computer Clubhouse's video lab and music recording studio.
